The latest research ranking by the Handelsblatt financial newspaper has listed Bayreuth among the 25 best economics departments in Germany, Austria and Switzerland – and as top 15 in Germany. The applicable methodology can be debated – e.g., check out A & A+ publications or points divided by number of researchers – but there is reason to be proud. See PDF for further information.
